My experience covers a wide spectrum of creative design, both non-dimensional and dimensional, and creative problem solving. My involvement in small to large projects for major resort, cruise line and theme park companies has allowed me to utilize my creative skills. With this experience I have a vast knowledge of design, fabrication, and implementation processes. My general course of action is: ask, listen, suggest, create. The things I do hopefully go from inside my brain to outside the box. That’s when it’s fun. And I can’t wait for the next bizarre challenge. Send me an email to discuss how I can help with your latest design or re-branding needs. dizzylanddale@aol.com

ABOUT ME

I was a kid with a big imagination. First I wanted to be SUPERMAN.

The first movie I saw was Peter Pan, when I was oh, around 3 or 4. By the time the Mickey Mouse Club aired in 1955, I had already declared that I was going to be an artist for Walt Disney. My passion continued to grow while watching my heroes Davy Crockett and Zorro on TV.

For a while, I thought I wanted a military career, so I went to Howe Military School - for one year.

After graduating from the University of Cincinnati in Graphic Design, the first step to realizing my dream happened, when I went to work for Kings Productions as a model maker, where I then got to design for Kings Island, Kings Dominion, Canada’s Wonderland and many other family parks and projects.

After nine years with Kings Productions, it all finally happened. I was hired by Walt Disney World in Orlando, starting two months after Epcot opened. Aside from a few years away from Disney to work for Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri, and Lake Lanier Islands in Georgia, I had spent most of my design career with Imagineering in Florida, until my retirement from Disney a couple of years ago. My wife and I now happily call Sebastian, FL our home.

Even though I dreamt of some day going to Disneyland, it wasn’t possible quite yet, living in the Midwest and then upstate New York. I did get to visit the small amusement parks in the area, like Adventure Town, which only fueled my desire to work for Disney.
